Project Synopsis

The proposed project consists of the expansion and improvement of an existing road, the Yellowstone Trail (167th Avenue SW and 74th Street SW) for Brosz Engineering on behalf of Slope County, ND. Only the U.S. Forest Service land within this area of potential affect (APE) was surveyed for potential fossil resources. The 200’ wide, 19,800’ (3.75 miles) long road corridor that is on USFS land was surveyed. A total of 84 acres were inventoried for potential fossil resources within the survey area.
