Project Synopsis

Beaver Creek Archaeology was hired to perform a Class III Inventory near the South Cave Hills in Harding County, South Dakota. As the South Cave Hills are sacred to many Native American Tribes, tribal consultation was initiated. Representatives from several tribes worked with Beaver Creek Archaeology and the proponent to find a location appropriate for all parties. Technical documents and reports were submitted to the Bureau of Land Management which concurred with our final findings and recommendations.
