ACE Windfarm Architectural Survey (ND)

Project Synopsis

Under circumstances where a project may impact a structures viewshed, Beaver Creek Archaeology performs an architectural survey. On the ACE windfarm Beaver Creek performed an architectural survey on structures located within one mile of the purposed turbine locations. St. Clements Catholic Church was located in this area, and in conjunction with the ND SHPO Beaver Creek did an in depth study on the current use of the Church. The site was updated detailing the yearly Corpus Christi Ceremony held at St. Clements Catholic Church. Beaver Creek Staff attended the ceremony and documented, with photos and written accounts, the proceedings in order to fully evaluate the church for the ND SHPO records.
