Great Plains CRM | Permanent, Seasonal & Project Positions | $20–$32+/hr | Single-Occupancy Lodging
Location: Bismarck, North Dakota
Project Area: Great Plains region, primarily the Northern Great Plains (North Dakota, South Dakota, Montana, and surrounding states)

Beaver Creek Archaeology (BCA) is a cultural resource management firm conducting archaeological survey, testing, and monitoring projects throughout the Great Plains, most commonly in North Dakota, South Dakota, Montana, and Minnesota. The company is looking to add to its field staff and will consider applicants for a range of position types depending on experience and project needs.

Position Types
• Permanent positions – year-round archaeological staff
• Seasonal field technicians – typically April–November
• Project-specific positions – primarily archaeological monitoring assignments, including ongoing and longer-term monitoring projects, with occasional testing and/or survey support

Pay
Typical hourly ranges (depending on experience):
• Field Technicians: $20–$24/hr
• Experienced Technicians / Monitors: $22–$28/hr
• Supervisory roles: $26–$32+/hr
Overtime paid at time-and-a-half when applicable.

Field Logistics
• Single-occupancy lodging provided for traveling fieldwork
• Seasonal staff lodging provided in Bismarck, including weekends between projects
• $60/day subsistence allowance
• Company field vehicles provided
• Paid time off for office-recognized holidays occurring during employment

Basic Qualifications
• BA/BS in archaeology, anthropology, or related field and field school, or equivalent field experience
• Ability to work outdoors and hike long distances
• Valid driver’s license
